the crying type

Oh those emotion things.

So weird. But they're there and we can't ignore them.

Sometimes painful situations arise in life and the tears just start flowing down your face.

And it feels like you have to pull back from everything. Granted you may need an afternoon to just sit by yourself, but you have to get up and keep going.

I love that the word of God talks about grieving being a part of our emotional process (read: Job).
I love that in Acts 20:19 Paul says, "serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and trials that happened to me..."

Friends, there will be many trials, but the Lord is still good and worthy of us serving Him.
I'm learning that I need to become humble from the things that make me stumble.

Sometimes there are circumstances that you don't choose. Sometimes we make decisions that inflict pain (whether now or later on).

Acts 20:24, "But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."

Your story, your trials, and your tears are all to testify to the gospel. they are all to testify to the mercy and goodness of the grace of God.

Maybe you're not the crying type. Cool!
But if you are the crying type, keep serving God. He will build you up. He will continue to strengthen you. He will continue to love you and hold every tear you cry in His mighty hands. Cool.

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." Psalm 56:8
