Fund Me?

Charlottesville’s own, Lily Garay, is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter and conference speaker. Lily started singing and writing songs when she was 4 years old with the help of her mom. Garay released her first EP when she was 15 years old at local coffee shop C’ville Coffee.

Former Albemarle High School (homeschool, PVCC, and National Honor Society) student Garay has been giving back to the community ever since she was born. Whether it be through the Christmas in July program, volunteering with Divine Women of Destiny, serving with her home church, Iglesia Revoluzion, or even founding & hosting 2 Benefit Concerts that not only spotlighted local talent, but gave money to kids fighting depression, hunger, insecurities, and even orphans. Lily believes that you should use every resource you have to give back.

Lily Garay has been given the opportunity to go to Chattanooga, Tennessee to compete in the Achieve the Dream contest. If she wins, she will get a record deal, tour, album, and more. She will also make history by being the first winner of this new competition.

Lily knows that she can’t make it through this journey alone. She is asking if her local community would be willing to support her to get to the contest! In order to get to Tennessee, Lily will need $1,700. Whether you can support through a donation on her IndieGoGo campaign, have her on your tv show, radio show, website, or simply send good vibes and prayer her way, Lily will be more than thrilled to know you are on her team!

What people are saying about Lily:
"If Coran Capshaw knows what’s best, he’ll negotiate an agreement
with Lily Garay before she graduates high school.
Ms. Garay is a singer of pop music,
but says her take on the genre is a far cry from
Miley Cyrus and her naughty dancing teddy bears."

"A concert drew dozens of people to
Albemarle High School on Sunday night.
This year, all ticket proceeds will go to the
Bolivia Life Center,
which is an orphanage in Bolivia."

"One of the most talented 17-year-olds in our area."
