Today I was reading a blog "Fierce, Fabulous, and Fit" and the blogger was talking about her biggest flaw. At the end of the post she said to think about our biggest flaw.

I totally agree that if you want to better yourself and move forward, then you need to look at what you're doing wrong.

As my friend, David Cruz, posted on facebook today, "We hide our weaknesses by putting on a mask to make people think we have it all together. But the gospel teaches us that to be weak is not a bad thing. Being weak reminds us that we need God and others in our life. Be vulnerable." So here goes!

People tell me all the time, "Oh Lily, you are so brave! So courageous, girl! I don't know how you do it, but you just go for it." Wrong. Well sort of right. But wrong. Yeah there are some things that I have absolutely no problem going for or doing. Believe it or not flaw I have is definitely not "going for it" enough times. Sometimes I'll lose an opportunity, friendship, etc because I'm too afraid to take the chance..Because I'm too insecure and don't have enough confidence for that moment.
Yes, I, Lily Garay, have struggled with, and sometimes still struggle with, a lack of confidence.
There are times when I've wanted to be this or be that or act like that person or have a certain group of friends or sing in front of certain crowds. But because of the identity I have found in Jesus Christ, I don't let that stop me anymore. I've learned that even when I feel a certain way, I should still go for it and take the chance! Let's take a chance. Let's Get Bold.
